Last Sunday, I spent the day in Tiburon with a group of beautiful, talented, and inspiring ladies. I was invited by my long time friend Mallory of Vineliving, to attend “Opening Day on the Bay” Blogger Brunch. I’ve never been to a blogger meet up before so I was immediately very interested and curious as to what goes on at these events, so I, of course, accepted.

The event was hosted at Servino’s, a classic italian restaurant, who has served the Tiburon community for 40 years. We had the “Bella Vista” room to ourselves, which is a private space on the second story that has a lounge and bar. The weather was perfect, so we were lucky enough to sit on the waterfront deck that has the most beautiful view of the bay.

Before we all sat down to eat, Katharine VanderDrift, founder of Code to Canvas, was kind of her to gift us a keychain with our horoscope sign. Code to Canvas is the world’s first augmented reality jewelry company. To use, you simply use the code to canvas app on your smartphone to scan your keychain, and your daily horoscope will pop up. It’s as simple and fun as that!

Once we sat down to eat, Servino’s Chef Christian Darcoli, served their most popular dishes, salads, pizzas, pastas, and finished off with dessert. Since I’m vegan, they brought out a salad, grilled veggies, and a pasta dish that were all vegan and gluten free. I was very full and satisfied.

Brunch was delicious, the weather was perfect, and the company was even better. Before I left, Mallory gifted me a bag filled goodies from: Miner Family wine Rose, Fuego Box, “Hot Hive Spicy Honey”, Sweet Blossom Company handmade soap and candle, and a gift certificate to Servino’s! Thank you to all the sponsors and hosts to make this brunch such a fun and successful meetup.

I’ve been blogging for over a year now, and I created this blog because I wanted a diary of all the places I’ve been to and be able to look back at all the things that I’ve experienced. I never thought this blog would allow me to meet new people who also have the same creative outlet and I am very grateful for that. I love meeting new, inspiring, creative people who lift each other up and make eachother better and I hope that in the near future I am able to meet more!
