I heard Vegan Taco Party and started packing my bags and flew all the way to L.A. to attend the 3rd Annual L.A.’s Best Vegan Taco’s hosted by Eat Drink Vegan and Café Gratitude. Showcasing L.A.’s best chefs and vegan taco vendors. All proceeds from the event went to benefit Voto Latino which is a organization that seeks to build a stronger and more inclusive American democracy by recognizing Latinos’ innate leadership.






With each ticket purchased you receive 10 delicious vegan tacos, a punch card to keep track of which tacos you’ve tried, and coin to vote for your favorite taco. Ben and I arrived around 1pm and there were already lots of people lined up in front of each booth to receive their taco. Each restaurant described their taco and where they were located in the area while they handed out the taco of the day. Every restaurant was different and unique in their own way and you could see their personality through their taco. How many times will I say "Taco" in this post?

Our strategy was to stand in the shortest line, get our taco, and head to a table to enjoy. I have listed all 10 tacos in the order that I ate them. Enjoy!

Believe it or not, 10 tacos is a lot. We took small breaks in between and cooled down with Kombucha from GT’s Living Foods. We check out Kernel Of Truth Organics booth where they were handing out free tortillas.




After all 10 tacos were demolished, I had to decide which taco was my favorite to cast my vote. I voted for @Cenavegan because it was spicy, the tempeh was perfect and I love a good flour tortilla.
